Beneath the Waves: Until recently within the pristine waters of Niue lay a veritable goldmine of largely untapped potential.
Recognising the worldwide demand for high quality fish, the Reef Group have unlocked this resource by building the Niue Fish Processors, a state-of-the-art purpose-built facility capable of meeting all international export standards and delivering some of the best fish products in the world.
Niue Fish Processors Ltd is a joint venture between Reef Group and the Government of Niue. A purpose built facility, it has been constructed using all the latest materials and technology. The operation is designed to process all fish caught in the country's EEZ, and deliver some of the best fish products in the world meeting all international export standards.
A completely self-sufficient facility, it is capable of everything from producing its own power to run the high-tech refrigeration equipment, to the manufacturing of fresh water from the pristine ocean surrounding Niue.
Based on seasons, Niue Fish Processors will export a range of tuna and tropical species. Reef fishing also operates fishing vessels in the Cook Islands and New Zealand fishing zones.
